Effective Date: August 8, 2026
Important notice: no legal advice and no attorney-client relationship. The information on this website is provided by The Law Office of Tracy Work for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Nothing on this website is intended to create, and your access to or use of it does not create, an attorney-client relationship between you and the firm or any attorney. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through this website, the contact form, or by email until an attorney-client relationship has been established through a signed written engagement agreement. Information you submit before that time may not be treated as privileged or confidential, and the firm may already represent another party involved in your matter. This website may be considered a communication or advertisement under the California Rules of Professional Conduct. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of this website (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, and by submitting information through the contact form, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy below, which is part of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who may use the Site
The Site is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and the firm does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
3. Informational purpose of the Site
The Site describes the firm and the services it offers. It does not sell any product or service online, does not process payments, and does not offer any account, profile, or login. The only information you provide to the firm through the Site is what you choose to send using the contact form.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. In particular, you agree not to:
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the rights of the firm or any third party.
• Upload or transmit any harmful or malicious code.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
5. Intellectual property
Ownership. The content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the firm name and marks, is owned by the firm or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from the Site without the firm’s prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
Information you send us. If you send information to the firm through the contact form or by email, you represent that you have the right to provide it. Your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy. The firm does not host user-generated content or public postings on the Site.
6. No warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The firm does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The Site’s content may not reflect the most current legal developments and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the firm will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the firm’s total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the firm from any third-party claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
9. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in El Dorado County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
10. Changes to these Terms
The firm may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when the revised Terms are posted on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after that date means you accept the changes. For material changes, the firm will make reasonable efforts to make the update noticeable.
11. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and the firm regarding the Site. The firm’s failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without the firm’s consent.

Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 8, 2026
The Law Office of Tracy Work ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. This policy applies to the website only. It does not apply to information you provide after you become a client, which is governed by our engagement agreement and the rules of professional conduct.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, typically your name, phone number, and email address, along with any details you include in your message. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information in the form.
Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted on Squarespace. When you visit, Squarespace’s built-in analytics and cookies collect standard usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you reached the Site. We use this to understand general site usage. We have not added Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking tools.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it, to provide and improve the Site, to maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site, and to comply with our legal and professional obligations. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails, and we do not use your contact information for advertising.
3. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device, to operate the Site and to support the Squarespace analytics described above. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and, where offered, through the cookie banner on our Site. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.
4. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them differently. If a standard is adopted, we will update this policy.
5. Third-party tracking across websites
We do not authorize third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activities across other websites through our Site for their own advertising purposes. The analytics and cookies used on the Site are for our own understanding of how visitors use it and for the operation of the hosting platform.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Site, principally our website host, Squarespace, and its infrastructure providers, who process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
7. How long we keep information
We keep the information you submit through the contact form for approximately 24 months, unless a longer period is needed to respond to your matter, to meet a legal, regulatory, or professional obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. Information transmitted through and stored on our website is protected by the security safeguards our hosting provider maintains, including encryption in transit, and information stored on firm devices is protected using device encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices
You may contact us at any time to ask what information you have provided, to correct it, or to request that we delete it, and we will honor reasonable requests consistent with our legal and professional obligations. To make a request, email us at admin@tsworklaw.com. You can also limit collection by choosing not to submit the contact form and by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings.
10. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change takes effect when we post the revised policy on this page with a new effective date.
